Stellae Boreales – An Ottawa Suzuki Strings Violin Ensemble

Prerequisites for Members

Stellae Boreales is Ottawa Suzuki Strings's flagship performance group. Comprised of both intermediate and senior violin choirs, Stellae Boreales is available by audition to violin students who have reached Book 6 or higher in the Suzuki repertoire.

The Stellae Boreales program emphasizes musicianship and technical training in the context of rehearsals and performances of violin ensemble music. Stellae Boreales provides its members with an opportunity to explore a wide range of repertoire, and experience performance and touring opportunities with their peers. The ensemble exists to enrich the lives of Ottawa Suzuki Strings' most advanced musicians, their families and the community, both local and global.
